Off to the Vendor’s Fair at “Le Chateau” and then a private play party…

Just finished having a delightful late brunch; I made a wonderful omelet with thinly shaved Black Forest ham, shredded mozzarella cheese and some diced celery and italian tomatoes. Yum! I’m now sitting down with my laptop, with one of my cats curled up at my side, sipping my Irish Breakfast tea; hoping to catch up with some blogging…
Today I will be quite busy, I have to finish working on my preparations and pack up all my charm bracelets, as I will be attending the annual Vendor’s Fair at “Le Chateau” to show off my wares. Some of my local readers might already be aware that I have a side business where I design, create and distribute italian charm bracelets to boutiques and jewelry stores. Earlier this year, I created a line of “Kink Bracelets” complete with the BDSM emblem, handcuffs and such — they’ve become fairly popular among many Montreal kinksters.
Since the bracelet links are modular and interchangeable, they are a fun way to show your kink side, even in more vanilla environment. When faced with the BDSM emblem, most non-kink folk tend to just think it is a sort of celtic triskellion, not realizing it’s deeper meaning - however, it provides kink folk with a relatively easy way to recognize each other.
The Vendor’s Fair at “Le Chateau” starts at 7 pm, so I’ll have to be there an hour or so ahead of time to set up, which means I should be leaving here around 5 pm. I won’t be able to stay the entire evening, because I’ve also been invited to an exclusive private party by Jules and Julianne at their beautiful and huge dungeon. The party supposedly starts at 9 pm, but Montrealers being Montrealers, things won’t get going until after 11 pm. Last time I didn’t get out of there until it ended around 4 am! So hopefully, I’ll be able to pack up my stuff from the Vendor’s Fair and get to the dungeon at a reasonable time and change into my leather corset and my antique top hat.
I’m really looking forward to this evening’s activities, however I am sure that I won’t get home before the sun rises on Sunday… and will promptly spend the entire day sleeping buried under my comfy duvet!

You are a fun read and I loved the omelet, you surprised me with the diced celery. Most women do not care for it. How long have you been at the designing of these ‘charms’?

Well, my father was an Officer’s Chef during the war and he passed on many of his culinary skills to the women in the family… I do enjoy cooking a nice meal, but hate *having* to cook. I’d rather cook when I feel up to it and I’m feeling creative, with an appreciative audience (even if it’s just me), otherwise it just feels like a chore.
I am rather picky when it comes to food, but I do appreciate a nice variety of colour and textures to food — it makes them more interesting. Certain contrasts can also be great, such as sweet and sour, or different colours and textures — which is why I like doing stir-frys when I have the time to spare.

The pictures of their dungeon on Pierre and Catharine’s site are great. This is definately one of the better equipped place in Montreal. (I haven’t seen all of them, yet.)

Yes, it is a very neat dungeon, as it is very large with lots of interesting play furniture; unfortunately not much of it was built with a 5 foot Domme in mind, so that sometimes limits things… Maybe I’ll bring you along to Jules dungeon with me someday; there is another party happening in early February that I will be looking forward to.
I plan on writing about my latest play party adventure when I get a bit more free time this week; I have some other stuff I have to get done first…
