I have been really working hard on making the FemDomme Society forums a success these past few weeks; from installing the forum software, to configuring it properly and seeding it with starter questions.
I have started to invite a number of “beta testers” to come and register for the forums, in order to run it through it’s paces and possibly discover any bugs and such, before it’s official Canada-wide launch, most likely in the New Year.
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with some of my work in the Canadian kink community, I have spent a good part of the past two years researching the idea of organizing a group dedicated to Female Dominants. We seem to be fairly rare in some areas of Canada, rarely surfacing in public, and it would be so helpful to be able to communicate amongst ourselves and share our experiences and expertise with each other.
I have received much positive feedback regarding this idea and I have been working hard to make it a reality, albeit in my very limited free time.
I really wanted this group to be specific to Canada, as I know that there are other FemDom groups, but they are primarily US-based, and I wanted something that would reflect our own Canadian-based viewpoints, personalities and communities. Thus it became known as the “FemDomme Society of Canada” and it will have regional and local chapters, such as the “Montreal FemDomme Society” in order to promote more local activities, events and members.
I have a private section that will be reserved exclusively subs & slaves, so that they can discuss certain matters amongst themselves. Of course, there is a similar private section reserved exclusively for FemDommes, to discuss a wide range of topics amongst themselves.
I have even made a section dedicated to Pro-Domination, so that aspect of our Dominant lifestyles may be discussed openly among the Dommes. I will be adding more sections, as the need arises. I believe these forums will always be growing and developing, adapting to the needs of it’s members.
It certainly has been a labour of love, but that is what we do when we believe in something, isn’t it? I am looking forward to seeing this project of mine grow even further in the New Year…
