Lenny Kravitz Rocks With His Cock Out!

US artist Lenny Kravitz made headlines this week when he literally rocked his pants off at a rip-roaring gig in Scandinavia on Monday night –- apparently Kravitz shredded so hard on stage, that his cock fell out!

Vintage-style Burlesque Cabaret to Open in Montreal This Fall

In Montreal’s notoriously raucous heyday, it was known as ‘Sin City of the North’. Here was an epicenter of entertainment and debauchery where gangsters, showgirls and jazzmen ran rampant; where champagne flowed like water and the clubs were “noisy, sexy and had plenty of bounce”. In the 1940s, there were over 30 cabarets in Montreal.

At Montreal’s newest premiere show bar The Wiggle Room; vintage style will meet contemporary cabaret, and classic and signature cocktails will be served nightly to patrons enjoying neo-vaudeville variety, comedy, burlesque and live music. The Wiggle Room is intimate and rich in character and tone with deep purple walls, gold accents, warm exposed brick and vintage cocktail tables and chairs. It hearkens back to Montreal’s vibrant nightclubs of the 50s where bands were hot and the mood was loose and fun; when service and style were paramount.

The Wiggle Room will be presenting Signature Saturdays, with burlesque revues with the crème-de-la-crème of Montreal’s best burlesque and cabaret performers. Not to be missed are the signature cocktails named after each artist.

The Wiggle Room’s official opening is on September 3rd, 2013, when it will begin it’s regular Tuesday-to-Sunday operations. The cozy room ensures an intimate and exciting experience, with the hottest music, burlesque artists and comedy stars.

Rihanna gets into S&M!

Rihanna exclaims that “Pain is her pleasure!” in her newest video, released on January 31st — however, she is also causing quite a controversy over the music vid’s kinky and sexually-laden imagery.

The video has been reportedly banned in 11 countries and YouTube has put it behind an “adult sign-in wall”. The BBC will not show it before 7pm and there are reports that MTV wants a re-edited version.

Rihanna sings:

“I may be bad, but I’m perfectly good at it.
Sex in the air, I don’t care, I love the smell of it.
Sticks and stones may break my bones,
but chains and whips excite me!”

Kink and fetish has become more and more mainstream over the past few years, and even Rihanna has hinted at it in some of her previous videos such as “Disturbia”. However, has Rihanna’s “S&M” hit the mainstream’s boundary? What do you think?

On the road once again…

On the road again

Well, here I go on the annual PowWow Trail once again. I’ll be stopping in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia to visit family. I also hope to be meeting up with some kink friends and possibly to make some new kink acquaintances.

I’ve been procrastinating on my packing again, because there are so many little things to take care of due to my vendor’s booth. That and my sister left some stuff she bought during her trip here earlier this spring that she wants me to bring down to her. Of course, trying to fit it all into my Saturn wagon will be a challenge.

I am also hoping to do a bit of photography to add to my portfolio while I am down there. Last year I got some gorgeous shots of a foggy afternoon in Peggy’s Cove. This year I am going to look for some other picturesque locations; perhaps some fishing villages such as Lunenberg.

I’d also like to make it into Halifax, as a friend of mine who is stationed there is being relocated and I’d like to spend some time with him before he moves next month.

So, all in all, a pretty full agenda; but I will mostly be winging it rather than sticking to a strict schedule — I try to prioritize stuff, but don’t want to feel bad if I can’t tackle everything during one trip. I’d go down home more often, but the price of gas does tend to limit these sorts of trips nowadays.

Anyways, I must get back to the last of the packing and hopefully hit the road tonight. I always prefer to do the first leg of the trip at night, since there is so little traffic and it is very relaxing. It will also be much more enjoyable now that I have my new iPod with me, so that I can listen to my own music and not be stuck with some of the insipid radio stations along the way.
